this was my second stay in the city, and lochnagar really exceeded my expectations. the room was nicely cleaned daily, and the small kitchenette was a great feature for quick snacks. i loved the unique decor, especially the stags head in the lobby which made it feel like a cozy scottish lodge.
the shower had inconsistent water temperature.

i had a very warm welcome at the lochnagar. the room was spacious and immaculate, with a nice desk area that was handy. the kitchenette on the landing was a great bonus—perfect for making coffee and snacks. plus, it's super close to the station, which made getting around easy. overall, fantastic value for money!

Super comfy bed, but it was tough to access since one side was against the wall.

this place was amazin! the mini kitchen on the landing was a cool idea, stocked up with tea and biscuits. the hosts were super friendly and the room was cozy and clean. also, the location was perfect, really close to town but still quiet. got free parking which is a rare find in aberdeen!
the shower pressure was kinda low and the room was a bit smaller than i expected.

Had a boss time! The room was dead cozy and spotless, felt like a home away from home. Neil was a sound host, proper welcoming. Only downside was the shower pressure was a bit low, but can't fault the comfy bed when I needed a good kip!

Spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding, and the shared kitchenette was well-stocked with refreshments, including tea, coffee, and biscuits. The location is convenient, being just a short walk from the train and bus stations. the shower pressure was inconsistent, and parking availability can be limited given the small number of spots. Noise from the street could also be an issue, disrupting sleep during the night.

pleasant stay but needs some tweaks
The room exceeded my expectations with its beautiful decor and cleanliness. I especially enjoyed the shared kitchenette stocked with refreshments, a lovely touch. The garden view from the window added a peaceful ambiance, making my stay feel more relaxing.
The shower pressure fluctuated unexpectedly during my use.

Great stay with a comfy vibe
I was there for one night and had an awesome time! My room was super cozy and bright. There’s a small kitchenette with free tea and snacks right on the floor, which was a lovely touch. The parking situation was a bit tricky since space is limited, but the location was perfect for my gig at the Music Hall.

The place has a solid location, just a hop away from the train and bus stations, making it a sweet hangout for a short trip. The room I had was well-decorated and included a private bathroom, which was a nice touch for a budget stay.
Arriving at the hotel left a bit to be desired. the check-in was slow, and it felt like I was left hanging outside, which wasn't great considering the weather conditions. The hot water situation in the shower was a workout on its own. I spent more time fiddling with the temperature than cleaning up. there wasn't any soap or shampoo provided, so be prepared to bring your own if you're not accustomed to that.
